Today you will make your way to your selected gateway Airport for your international flight to Tehran, Iran. The morning kicks off with a visit to the opulent Golestan Palace Complex, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Day 3: Tehran to Hamedan
After a delightful breakfast, you'll embark on an approximately 4-hour drive to Hamedan, an ancient city known as Ecbatana. This city was historically significant as it served as the capital of the Medes in the late 8th century BC, under the rule of Deioces. Later, it became the summer capital of the Persian Achaemenid Empire. Hamedan is located at the northeastern foot of Mount Alvand, which stands tall at 3,571 meters. In the afternoon, your exploration of Hamedan begins with a visit to the tomb of Queen Esther and her uncle Mordechai, who are revered as heroes in the Purim saga. This site holds great importance as a pilgrimage destination for the Jewish community. The mausoleum is a simple brick structure crowned with a dome, constructed over their underground graves around seven centuries ago. Continuing the tour, you'll visit the tomb of Avicenna, a prominent figure from the 10th century, renowned as a poet, scientist, philosopher, and considered the father of modern medicine. This site holds historical and cultural significance, celebrating the achievements of this influential figure. About 5 kilometers southwest of Hamedan, you'll explore the ancient inscriptions of Ganjnameh, meaning 'Treasure Book.' Your first stop will be in Bistoun town, where you'll encounter one of Iran's exceptional tourist attractions. Here, you'll explore the massive mythical rock relief of Darius the Great, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, showcasing the historical significance of the Achaemenid king of Persia. Next, your journey continues to Taqe Bostan, located 6 kilometers northeast of Kermanshah. This world-famous site houses some of the finest examples of Persian sculpture and bas-reliefs dating back to the era of the Sassanid Empire (3rd to 7th century AD). It's a treasure trove of historical art and culture that will fascinate you with its intricate craftsmanship. After enjoying breakfast this morning, you'll meet your guide to begin the discovery of Kermanshah's most precious treasure, Tekyeh Moaven-Al Molk. This magnificent landmark dates back to the Qajar period in the 19th century and is a true architectural gem. Later, you'll head northwest, journeying along the Zagros Mountains range, to reach the beautiful city of Khoram-Abad. Throughout the scenic drive, you'll have the freedom to request stops whenever you desire to capture photos of the lush landscapes and breathtaking vistas. Upon arrival in Khoram-Abad, you'll have the opportunity to explore Falak-ol-Aflak, the town's most impressive castle dating back to the Sassanid dynasty. Day 6: Khoram-Abad to Ahvaz via Susa
This day promises to be an unforgettable part of your exploration tour in Iran. After an early breakfast, you'll begin an approximately 10-hour drive to Ahvaz, the capital city of Khuzestan province. Your adventure for the day starts as you journey through awe-inspiring landscapes, witnessing incredible peaks and valleys along the way. During the trip, your first stop will be at the archaeological site of Susa, a UNESCO World Heritage Site that dates back 6000 years. Susa holds historical significance as the ancient capital city of the Elamites (Susiana) and served as the administrative capital of the Achaemenian king, Darius the Great, and his successors during the 6th century BC. Here, the great civilizations of Mesopotamia and the Iranian plateau merged, inspiring one another and leaving behind a rich cultural legacy. Later, you'll visit the burial place of the biblical prophet Daniel in the town. This site is a popular religious attraction for both local Muslims and the Jewish community. Continuing your journey, you'll reach the Chogal Zanbil Temple, another UNESCO World Heritage Site and one of the best-preserved archaeological temple ziggurats globally. Built around 1250 years BC by the Elamite king Untash-Napirisha, this ceremonial complex was devoted to the great god Inshushinak. Your tour guide will lead you through the highlights of this impressive location, offering fascinating insights into life during the Elamite era. After this enriching experience, you'll continue your journey along the Khuzestan plain, eventually reaching Ahvaz.

This morning, you'll bid farewell to the city of Ahvaz and embark on a ten-hour drive to Shiraz. This memorable day of travel begins with a visit to the ancient city of Bishapur, one of the oldest Persian capital cities. Founded by Sasanian King Shapur I (241–272 BC), Bishapur was strategically located on the royal road between Persis and Elam. Your knowledgeable guide will lead you through the architectural wonders of Bishapur, including the magnificent Anahita temple, the central palace, the palace of Valerian, and a mosaic porch. Each of these structures carries rich historical significance and showcases the remarkable artistry of the ancient era. At a nearby excavation site, you'll have the opportunity to wander around and marvel at six Sassanid bas-reliefs from the 3rd and 4th centuries, found in the scenic Tang-e Chogan gorge. These bas-reliefs provide fascinating insights into the art and culture of the Sassanid dynasty. Next, you'll have the opportunity to explore and shop in the bustling Vakil Bazaar. As you wander through the vibrant marketplace, don't miss the chance to taste the local specialties, such as Saffron ice cream and Shirazi Faloodeh. The latter is a delightful combination of rice noodles, iced rosewater, sugar, and a hint of lemon juice, creating a refreshing and delicious treat. In the afternoon, you'll be captivated by the mesmerizing Nasir-ol-Molk Mosque, often referred to as the Pink Mosque. Today is filled with three incredible Persian highlights, each showcasing the various styles of Persian architecture across different centuries, from the Achaemenid to the Selukid dynasties. Your knowledgeable local guide will take you on a journey through 2500 years of Persian history as you explore the majestic site of Persepolis, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and once the ceremonial capital of the Achaemenid Empire. Founded by Darius the Great in the 6th century BC, this palatial complex was where the Achaemenid kings received their subjects and celebrated the Persian New Year. As you wander through the ruins, you'll immerse yourself in the grandeur and sophistication of Persian civilization. After exploring Persepolis, your next destination is Naghsh-e Rostam, the ancient Achaemenid Necropolis. Here, you'll encounter four gigantic royal tombs and some remarkable Sassanian Rock Reliefs, providing further insights into the rich history of Persia. In the afternoon, you'll return to Shiraz, one of the most elegant cities in Iran. In this beautiful city, you'll visit the Quran Gate, an iconic structure with historical significance. Day 10: Shiraz to Mahan
You depart early today on a journey into the heart of the Iranian desert! Enjoy the stunning views as you travel along the Zagros Mountain range. On the way, feel free to stop the driver from taking pictures of desert villages and the surrounding landscape. En route, visit Maharloo Salt Lake, also known as Pink Lake, a seasonal salt lake situated 27.0 km southeast of Shiraz; the lake salt is rich in potassium and other salts.15 km west of Neyriz town, the next site will be Bakhtegan Salt Lake. With a surface area of 350,000 hectares (1.4 million acres), the lake is Iran's second-largest salt lake. It used to attract thousands of birds, including huge flocks of flamingos. A stop will be made here to take photos and enjoy the spectacular views before proceeding to Mahan. After you check in to your hotel in Mahan, you will get the chance to enjoy a sunset drink.

Day 11: Mahan to Rayen & Kerman
After breakfast, you will start the morning of your tour right with an exploration of a mind-bending highlight in Mahan; the tomb of Shah Nematollah Vali, Mahan's most famous shrine, will be your first stop. This impressive sacred complex is dedicated to the spirit of the late Shah Nematollah, Iranian poet, sage, and a great Sufi leader (1330-1431), and is believed to be his burial place. Marvel at the intricate design of this mind-bending mausoleum! Then it is time to make the way to Rayen, to the most famous Sassanid Citadel that reflects a unique blend of the cultural heritage of ancient Persian, a town that Marco Polo visited in the 13th century. Wandering through the narrow alleys of this beautifully preserved original castle is like taking a step back in time. Next up is a visit to one of the significant Persian treasures, the famed Shazdeh Garden (UNESCO World Heritage Site). You can spend some great time strolling through this beautiful garden and enjoying its fantastic atmosphere. In the late afternoon, you will be driven to Kerman to explore the authentic identity of the city. You can take a stroll through the Kerman Grand Bazaar as well as the Ganj Ali Khan Complex, where you can pay a visit to the Kerman Friday Mosque, an Old Caravanserai, and the City Central Square. To wrap up your tour, if time permits, you can opt to have tea or Shisha in a beautiful Traditional Teahouse here! The rest of the evening is free to enjoy at your leisure.

Day 12 : Kerman to Yazd
This morning, as soon as we have had our breakfast, we head out from Kerman on a five-hour drive northwest to the desert city of Yazd. Stopping off at the fascinating Zein-o-din, where you visit a 16th-century renovated circled caravanserai with panoramic views of the desert, one of the so-called old motels on the Silk Road. This old, dilapidated building was completely renovated by local artists, and the result is an incredible icon. Then continue your trip to Yazd, one of the most alluring cities in Persia. The awesome desert city of Yazd is renowned for its unique desert architecture, regarded by UNESCO as one of the ancient towns on Earth, perfectly adapted to the harsh weather conditions of the surrounding desert. The Zoroastrian religion also survives here where you visit the Temple of Eternal Fire. Afterward, you set out for the old Towers of Silence on the edge of the city, where in the past centuries, the bodies of deceased Zoroastrians were placed and exposed to scavenger birds, which as per their beliefs, is the most sacred method of dealing with the dead. Next up is the Amir Chakhmaq Complex, where you will admire an imposing and prominent landmark comprising of a large square, a Caravanserai, a Mosque, A Water Reservoir, several wind catchers, and a portal for Shia religious gatherings and ceremonies. This city is also best known for its sweets and pastries. All Iranian and foreign visitors to this desert city must visit the local Haj Khalifa Confectionery next to the Amir Chakhmaq Square. Here, you can try the famous Iranian Baklava Pastries, Ghotab (donut hole-shaped cookies), Lozenârgil (coconut diamonds), and Pashmak (cotton candy). Then in the old historical Fahadan District, you have the chance for a walk through the winding alley of the Fahadan old town. At the end of your today's adventure, you will be transferred to your hotel to enjoy an evening at your leisure.

Day 13: Yazd to Isfahan
Today, you'll journey from Yazd to Isfahan, with a fascinating stop at the ancient city of Meybod along the way. Meybod offers a wealth of captivating sites to visit, including its 400-year-old Caravanserai and the charming Old Town. After exploring Meybod, you'll continue your trip to Isfahan. Isfahan, once the 17th-century capital of the Safavid Empire, is often considered the climax of the journey for many travelers. This dazzling capital of Ancient Persia holds a plethora of attractions to explore and discover. Upon arrival in Isfahan in the afternoon, you can take the opportunity to wander around the Zayandeh River Bridges, including the famous Si-o-Se Pol and Khaju Bridges. These iconic bridges are beloved meeting spots for the locals and offer stunning views of the city's river and surroundings.

Today is dedicated to exploring the magnificent city of Isfahan. After breakfast, your guide will lead you on a captivating sightseeing tour, taking you to the most brilliant tourist attractions in the city. Immerse yourself in Isfahan's sophisticated charms as you discover the UNESCO heritage-listed Naghsh-e Jahan Square, the world's second-largest square with four amazing landmarks on each side: the Shah Mosque, the exquisite Sheikh Lotfollah Mosque, Ali Qapu Palace, and the Isfahan Grand Bazaar. At the Grand Bazaar, you'll have the opportunity to visit the workshop of artists who paint miniatures on camel bone, witnessing their intricate craftsmanship firsthand. In the evening, enjoy a visit to the Chehel Sotun Palace Complex, another UNESCO World Heritage Site. Day 15:Isfahan to IKA Airport, Depart for Home
After breakfast, you'll embark on an exciting day trip to Kashan. The journey takes you on a fantastic route, with the first stop at the crimson-colored old village of Abyaneh. This unique village is one of the last surviving Zoroastrian places, offering a fascinating glimpse into ancient traditions and culture. Next, you'll continue to Kashan, a city with a rich historical heritage. Here, you'll visit the Fin Garden, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and one of the most beautiful Persian Gardens dating back to the 17th century. The garden's exquisite design and tranquil atmosphere make it a captivating sight. Continuing your exploration of Kashan, you'll visit the awe-inspiring House of Boroujerdiha, an architectural masterpiece that reflects the ingenuity and creativity of Persian architecture.
